Jayde is a practiced Reiki master and Yoga teacher passionate about empowering adults and children with tools of self regulation and healing.

The journey with Reiki began in the holi city of Varanassi, India where she landed in the home of a jolly Reiki master.

Here she encounteded an experience with the energy which can only be expressed as transcendent.

This was when she took the steps to learn Level 1 and watched as her life began to transform as she began an intense healing journey.

Since this pivital moment Jayde has integrated Reiki into her daily practice and uses Reiki as a personal tool to navigate emotions and positively shift the direction of her life.


Jayde will always greet you with an open heart and a patience to truly listen as you share your intention and your truth.


Rest assured, Jayde's soft, lighthearted nature and her words of grace will allow you to feel at ease to truly surrender and let go to the experience knowing that she will be fully present with whatever ebbs and flows within your journey together.

Reiki is a healing modality where the practitioner applies his hands to or near the body of the recipient over specific energy centres of the body and calls upon universal life force energy or REIKI energy to be channeled down into these centres to facilitate the shifting of stagnant energies and rebalancing of the energetic body or biofield.


Reiki is channeled down through the practitioner’s body and out the hands directly to the various placements on the client.


Reiki works within the 7 energetic bodies (layers) in and of the aura, and main energy systems within the body known as the chakras, the nadis and the meridians.

The obvious effects of this modality is the assistance to the body in reducing stress, and the releasing of tensions within the entire energetic field.


As a result the client is able to move towards a state of  harmony within their entire system; mind, body and spirit.


Often it has been seen that the person’s healing systems will be ‘re-activated’ or ‘stimulated’ to begin to work more effectively.

As the story goes,

Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki was a spiritual seeker and scholar, he was born in Japan in 1865. He was driven to uncover the hidden secrets of ancient healing methods.

He learned Chinese and Sanskrit (an ancient bhuddist language) in order to understand various ancient texts such as the vedas. 

Upon studying ancient bhuddist texts, he stumbled upon texts pertaining to a particular healing method. He understood what he was reading was the key to healing, however he had no idea how to ‘activate’ or ‘apply’ the method.


After much deliberation with holy men, in 1920, Usui was guided to the spiritual mountain of Kumara near Kyoto in Japan.

He undertook a 21 day fast and meditation in an attempt to unlock the hidden activation methods.

Usui collected 21 stones to symbolise each passing day, each day he would throw one stone down the mountain.

As he thew the final stone on the 21st day, he was struck in the third eye by a white light which took him into a place of bliss, a deep meditative state ‘satori’ or spiritual awakening, where he was able to access universal consciousness and unlock the meaning and activation technique for the Reiki healing symbols.

He was then able to understand and develop this powerful system for healing that we know today as Reiki.

Is is said that Usui then spent many years treating and healing beggars in the slums of Kyoto. Later he opened a clinic in Tokyo and travelled around Japan healing and lecturing others on how they can use these symbols for healing also.


Before Usui’s death in 1926, he was able to train between 16 and 18 Reiki Masters.

Anyone can learn Reiki!


REIKI is passed directly from master to student through the attunement process. Each practitioner can be traced back to the original reiki lineage in the same ways as a family tree.


There are 4 levels of Reiki.

In each level, students are attuned to the different levels of Reiki and taught the key aspects pertaining to that level of Reiki, including hand placements, symbols, principles and practices.


Originally this process was offered alongside a strict lifestyle with daily practice and orally offered training which sometimes took years to complete each level.

Nowadays Reiki is a lot more relaxed around the world as Reiki becomes more and more free flowing and accessible.


Reiki has NO bias on the level of energy each practitioner is able to offer. Every person who is attuned to the same level has the same amount/strength of Reiki flowing through them and to the client.

The exciting thing about Reiki is that it’s NOT a religion, and requires no prior belief system in order for it to be offered.


In this way Reiki is available for EVERYONE to learn and channel.
